Mandy's "sexy Big Red Trailer is nearly impossible to miss" -- and I've been driving by and noticing it for months. Stopped by yesterday and tried the $3 classic. Very good -- dill pickle relish (not sweet), grilled bun, and a dog that has a snap to it. A bit messy (I'm a fan of less relish/dressing). But I'm lucky that this joint is just blocks from my home, so I'll certainly go back to try their tri-tip, etc.

"Topped with a pile of crumbled blue, lettuce, pickles & secret sauce on a toasted egg bun"! The only thing I didn't like about this perfectly rare-cooked burger were the sweet pickles. Not to my taste, so I tossed 'em!

Perfectly cooked rare steak served in a hot, cast iron pan along with "Sausalito Springs Watercress, Housemade Steak Sauce" and "Allium Butter" -- which is, I guess, a fancy way of saying "onion butter." I ate every bit of this, mixing the steak sauce up with the butter and even a bit of the ketchup which was probably for the fries. The whole dish was something I feel like I could copy at home -- since it was yummy enough that I'd like to eat it often!

"American Prosciutto, Sage, Lemon Cream, Caved Aged Gruyere, 9" -- absolutely delicious -- I just wish they had trimmed the ends of the asparagus so this was restaurant-worthy. As presented, this is home-cooking at its finest!

How can they only charge six dollars for this little plate of goodies that were surely made in heaven? Why did I share this with my dinner companion? And why didn't I order two more plates full 'to go'??
